It’s time to get around a table with the right people to make your product happen.

We believe that the magic of a well-thought out design happens when the right people sit around a table and brainstorm until the best dimensions, functionality, and features emerge.

At MJL, we have the technical expertise to ensure that all of the technical details are considered and factored into the overall plan.

The focus of our workshop is to move from concept to code, and from idea to physical product. In the digital product world we call this process a rapid prototype. In the workshop, our goal is to apply enough heat and pressure to see if we can make a diamond. During this phase we move beyond the initial concept team and begin working with your trusted users to gain feedback on product ideas, high-fidelity designs, and operation protype. With MJL, none of this work is thrown away. Every design and line of code is built with the goal of moving us one step closer to the MVP.

You may ask then why do this phase at all? Why not direct all resources to MVP and get this in the market asap? As Yoda so eloquently said “Much to learn, you still have.” With rapid prototyping you are able to quickly see new designs, build them out and try them on for feedback from a selected set of users and partners. We seek to learn from Pareto’s Principle and focus on the 20% of features that will yield 80% of the value to your customer.

Working sessions will include:

Brainstorm sessions

Come up with as many ideas as possible. Get them out and on the table to sort and select the most valuable ones. Come willing to listen, contribute, and to be flexible. The best ideas are always a collaboration.

Build the idea

Using wireframes, digital or paper prototypes. This step will be unique to the phase of your project (low-fidelity prototype or high-fidelity prototype).

Create a plan to release to users

in order to capture feedback; how this will work and when.
